I really have little doubt WB has changed, the game I watched he blew it at the end taking just bad shots. Course maybe the last while being out was a wake up call. I still think the thunder looks a bit fucked up sicne he's been back, but they deserve some grace
okc has given up something like 110 per game since Westbrook has been back. for some reason their defense just went in the shitter. and Durant is still getting as many shots as when Westbrook was out. 22 a game , and is still putting up the 33-7-5 from when Westbrook was out.
8 turn overs is more worrisome to me. and Westbrook doesn't need to change. there is a reason they got beat without him last year in the playoffs. and I hate how people conveniently forget that Durant takes a great deal of bad hero shots as well but he gets a pass because he hits a couple more.
And yeah, like indiefan23 said, OKC hasn't been in sync since Westbrook's return. They've got to figure out how to effectively play KD and Westbrook together again. Westbrook really thinks he's the best player on the team, and that is a huge concern.
do you really think WB feels taht way? He plays like it sometimes. And really always has. I do think they deserve at least a month before people evaluate them. Like anyone taking back a piece as big as WB deserves
WB is in an interesting place with his legacy in the balance... either he learns how to add to that without taking anything off the table, and they go to the next level, or he doesn't, and pending a playoff loss or two, he goes down very negatively
